Homework: 


On the 29th of May, students are going to visit la Fundació Miró, they're going to visit the Museum and do a workshop there: "Volums inesperats".
That's why they have to do a little bit of research about him.
They have to:
  1.  Write information about his personal life and his artwork.
  2. Choose one of his artwork (painting, sculptures...)and write:
  •  Why this artwork?
  • What can you see?
  • Which colours or techniques has he used?
 Bring your work on the 24th 0f April.
Can be powerpoint or paper.You can add photos.
You can try to paint a picture in Miró's style.

Water Colours

They have to learn how to use water colours .
They start painting using first light colours before dark ones.
The student have to practise a lot before they will work on a big piece of art paper.
Meanwhile, we will get into Monet's life and work.

HW: Project about jobs

In Unit 4 students are going to study jobs and occupations. That's why this project.
The objective is to know something more about a person from their own family.
It's an open project so they can present it in any format: video, power point, word, paper, interview...
They have three weeks to do it: 18th of March
Suggested points:


  • Person name and age
  • What's his/her job about?
  • What's he/she does?
  • Where he/she works?
  • Has she/he needed to wear any specific cloth or uniform?
  • What's his/her timetable?
  • Does he/she work with other persons?
  • .............
They can find some information of projects in the books, pg 34 and 35.

Xmas homework: Monet

 Next term students are going to make a project about Monet. That's why they have to do a little bit of research about him.They have to write information about his personal life and his artwork, trying to find out why  Monet is a well-known artist.
Also, they have to choose one of his paintings and write:
  •  Why this painting?
  • What can you see?
  • Which colours or techniques has he used?
  •  Do you like it? Why?
  • Do you want to learn more about Monet?
 Bring your work on the 8th of January.
You can add photos.
You can try to paint a picture in Monet's style.
